LUCERO was conceived to solve one of the most basic needs of advanced autonomous systems (level 6), the generation of three-dimensional navigation environments with a very high level of detail and precision. It is essential to have a wide knowledge of the navigation area that allows the system to reach the awareness situation that enables autonomous movement. The research activity and the development work that was carried out allowed obtaining an algorithm with unique features that allows automating the process of generating these three-dimensional navigation environments.

We work with LiDAR technology, sensors that generate three-dimensional point clouds by laser. The characteristics of the algorithm and the associated tools that LUCERO has developed present a series of singularities that are unique at a global level, providing the company a technology with great potential and added value. 

Generating these environments requires massive data processing, which in turn provide valuable information and allow the extraction of patterns from the environments, both static and dynamic, which translate into knowledge of very high added value. There are numerous uses and applications of this technology.
